Gender Pay Gap Report 2024
31 July 2024
The Gender Pay Gap Report gives a high-level snapshot of pay within an organisation, showing the differences in average pay between all male and female employees, irrespective of their role or seniority. We have produced our Gender Pay Gap Report based on a snapshot date of 5 April 2024.
Gender Pay is distinctly different from Equal Pay and should not be confused with it. Equal Pay relates to the requirement to pay both men and women the same for equal work. Our approach to pay is gender-neutral, and we are confident that men and women are paid equally for doing equivalent jobs across our business.
We have seen positive improvements in our gender pay gap metrics compared to the previous year. As of April 2024, our mean gender pay gap decreased significantly to 4.2% from 7.8%. Similarly, the median gap across the business reduced to 3.1% from 10.9%, reflecting our ongoing commitment to promoting equality within Scott Logic.
In terms of gender diversity, women now constitute 23.2% of our workforce, reflecting an increase of 1.4%. While there has been a slight decrease of 2.1% in the proportion of women in senior roles across the workforce, it is noteworthy that 19.7% of women occupy senior grades. This underscores our commitment to nurturing diverse leadership within our organisation. We still have work to do to increase the proportion of women in consultancy roles, and resuming our attraction of female talent as we grow in the next few years will support this effort.
